Do not enter a branch that visibly stops
A disconnected route can leave a Lootbound run unable to continue. Do not treat its last node as a hidden teleport or assume you can walk backward. Inspect the outgoing connections before choosing that branch.
Check the route or preserve the stuck state
Follow the branch's connecting lines through the next several nodes before moving.
Choose a connected alternative when one is available.
If already stuck, capture the entire map and the selected node before surrendering.
Check for an available game update, then resume and inspect whether a valid next node exists.
An announced fix is not a recovered save
The dead-end issue received a fix announcement on September 28, but that does not establish that an already stranded run will be repaired. Updating is a check, not a guaranteed recovery. Avoid restarting repeatedly in expectation of an undocumented backtracking command.
