The requirement concerns the Warrior companion's abilities
Master of Sword is not the reward for clearing all difficulties as the Warrior or buying his Barracks upgrades. Its condition concerns unlocking the Warrior companion's complete ability set. Check that progression separately from the controlled hero's wins.
Run the companion-side check
Inspect Master of Sword separately from The Last General and Trained Recruit.
Start with another available hero so Warrior can be recruited as a companion.
Take the Warrior companion when offered and pursue the missing companion abilities.
Finish the attempt and check the achievement and ability state again.
A companion clear is a diagnostic route, not a replacement condition
A clear with Warrior recruited is the useful next check after main-hero clears failed to unlock the achievement. Do not assume that recruiting him once automatically completes every ability requirement. Retain the visible ability state if the achievement remains locked.
