Do not try to spend Sentinel Seals in the Hub
In the current build, Sentinel Seals are not a manually spendable Hub currency. Keep playing normally when the counter remains visible after a clear. The Barracks, Game Room, Laboratory, Arsenal, Reliquary, Library, and other Hub locations do not provide a purchase button that consumes these seals.
The displayed total is therefore not an unspent balance that blocks progress. Do not delete a save, repeat a purchase screen, or search every building for a hidden exchange. Hub purchases use their displayed requirements, while the seal count remains as a separate record tied to Sentinel progression.
Let Library progression happen automatically
Sentinel-related lore entries advance automatically with game progression rather than through a manual seal transaction. Open the Library after completing new clears to review what has appeared, but do not expect a confirmation screen that subtracts seals. The counter can remain unchanged as an accumulated total while new information becomes available elsewhere.
This also means a visible seal total is not proof that the Library failed. Check the entries themselves and compare them after a completed progression step. If nothing new appears, continue from the last stable full-release save and complete another distinct clear before considering technical troubleshooting.
- Check Library entries after meaningful clears.
- Expect no manual spend prompt.
- Expect the visible seal total to remain on screen.
- Keep Hub currencies and Sentinel Seals conceptually separate.
Understand why the counter can feel unfinished
The interface presents seals like a collectible balance, so it is reasonable to expect a shop or exchange. Current completed-game accounts show accumulated totals still sitting in the interface after all heroes and difficulties have been cleared. That behavior matches a tracking counter, not a resource waiting for one final building.
Plan around what the current game exposes. Use Memory Shards and other displayed Hub requirements where those buildings request them. Treat Sentinel Seals as progression records and avoid holding back upgrades because you are waiting for a seal purchase option. No current build decision becomes stronger by preserving or spending the total.
| Display | What to do |
|---|---|
| Sentinel Seals | Keep earning through progression; do not search for a spend action |
| Hub purchase requirement | Spend only at the building that displays that requirement |
| Library entry | Review after new clears; no seal payment is required |
Check a seal count that did not increase
A repeated Sentinel kill does not automatically prove that the counter should increase every time. First identify whether the clear represented a new hero, difficulty, or progression milestone. Return to the Hub normally and wait for the save to complete before closing the game. Then compare the counter and Library state.
If a genuinely new milestone produces no visible change, protect the profile before testing. Back up the current full-release save and confirm Steam Cloud has finished synchronizing. Do not import demo data or replace the profile with an older copy. The counter has no manual spending consequence, so preserving broader progress is more important than forcing one display value.
- Confirm the clear is a new progression milestone.
- Return to the Hub and allow the save to finish.
- Check both the seal counter and Library entries.
- Restart once and recheck the same profile.
- Back up the profile before any file-level troubleshooting.
Avoid three progression mistakes
Do not postpone useful Hub upgrades while waiting for a seal shop. Do not erase a completed profile because seals remain visible. Do not assume that every Sentinel victory must create a spendable token. Those actions risk real progress while solving a problem that the current interface does not support.
Continue with hero clears, difficulty objectives, achievements, and automatic Library progress. If a later game update adds a manual use, that future behavior belongs to a newly verified guide revision. For version 1.1.7, the practical answer is simple: keep the seals, spend nothing, and progress through normal clears.
